Dear Lord God, Thank You for the ways that You have blessed and guided me in the past. I thank God that You are just a whisper, just s prayer away. At times it is hard for me to hear Your voice, but I look to the past to remember that You have been faithful in watching over me. I can go back to numerous journals as far back as 1994 and see how you have been faithful to me, how you watched over your word to perform it in my life. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Thank You for ordering my steps. Today, I lift up my deepest needs to You Lord and place them in Your capable hands, trusting You with all that I am. I may have been negligent and missed some days of journaling and talking to You as your scribe, but I'm back. I've already talked to You and have written down some questions I need you to answer. I will wait upon You Lord, listening for Your Voice over my life. Psalm 37:1 says, " I waited patiently upon the Lord." I pray for patience this year, that I will wait patiently for You... Wait for the Lord; be of good courage and He shall strengthen thine heart, Wait on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 For I know that You are faithful and that You will guide me in Your perfect timing. Help me to be still, and know that Thou art God. Thank You Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen
Jesus: The Truth Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6 Jesus is the Truth; He cannot lie. He will always tell you what is right; He will not deceive you. When you read His Word, it will always give you an accurate record of the past, and it will give you an honest description of what people are like today. When the Word of God predicts the future, its predictions will come about. Jesus said God’s Word “is truth” (John 17:17). Whether you are referring to the words Jesus spoke on the earth or His words written in Scripture, both are true. Because He is the Truth, He wants you to be truthful. Lord, it’s hard to be truthful, because I have a deceitful heart that always wants to put me in the best light. Forgive my sins and help me always to tell the truth. Truth never contradicts itself; it is always consistent. What Jesus said on Earth was always true. Jesus’ words were consistent with the rest of Scripture, and the Scripture is consistent within itself. The Scripture cannot deny itself (John 10:35). Because the Bible is consistent, you can trust its message. Because Jesus is the Truth, you can believe in Him. Lord, I believe that everything You’ve said in the Bible is true. I will base my life on the Scriptures, because I believe they work. I will read the Scripture, because I believe it is consistent. The more I know about the Bible, the more I realize that it’s consistently true in itself and that its influence is true in my experiences. Amen. Go Deeper: John 8:13-36 @Primetime With God

Dear Lord Jesus, Lord, teach me how to pray, and teach me what to pray for. This morning Lord, I want to thank You for being the Spirit of Truth. Thank You for always dealing honestly with me! Your days ate truth, Your character exemplifies truth. Your dealings with Your people and those who are not your people, reveal just who You really are.Thank you for being the truth in this world. Please open my eyes so that I may seek your truth in my life and in the difficult moments. The world systems would have you/me believe a lie, even when truth is staring us in the face. But in the end Truth will prevail. The song says, "His Truth Is Marching On!" Please continue to be the rock solid foundation upon which I build my life and the ministry You have entrusted to me. With you as my unshakeable foundation, all of my hopes, dreams, ambitions and relationships will be grounded in Your truth and in Your love. When I miss the mark, Lord, help me to be quick to repent and acknowledge my shortcomings. Please point me toward Your truth, my Lord. I want to see less of me and more of You. In a world with many distractions, I am thankful for your truth in my life. Today, I pray the words in Isaiah 41:10... So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand. This is the word of the Lord, thanks be to God. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen
