Thank God for the GPS Systems. Most cars are equipped with some type of navigation system. Those of us that cannot afford them can download the AP on our mobile device, get directions from AAA, Map Quests or ask the man or woman in the toll booth when we feel we are just a few miles from our destination.
The GPS Makes short and long distant travel much easier. You can relax and enjoy the trip as we hear a voice tell us where to go. We have faith in the GPS that it will not lead us astray. This ought to remind you and me of a greater GPS that we have in our life and if we listen, we too will hear a voice
directing us in all we are to do.
In Isaiah 30:21 there is a Scripture that reads thusly: "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying "This is the way, walk in it, " whenever you turn to the right or whenever you turn to the left."
Having specific directions and choosing to follow them is the choice that all of us must make. Choosing the best isn't always an easy decision. It takes courage, prayer and faith. We need to be in constant communication with God so that we can recognize the false voices, and know how to choose the best, given
the circumstances we find ourselves in.
Furthermore, it is important to not only seek God's ear for directives and instructions . He is also desiring us to communicate, worship, and fellowship with Him. God calls us friend, and He longs to commune with us in
that manner. We must make sure that we always seek for balance in our relationship with The Lord. And remember:
"Don't forget to say your prayers."
