Jesus must be your only foundation, your rock; "On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." Go ahead and add pressed powder to cover up any remaining flaws. Put it over your foundation. Press into God' s purpose for your life. Sometimes you have to pray, press, and praise! Pray, press, and praise before your miracle comes through. Paaul says it like this: "Forgetting those things which are behind,m and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Sometimes it seems like you can't find God. He gets quiet on you. He's off taking care of everyone's business but yours! At least that is what the devil would have you to believe. I heard Paula White once say, "The teacher (God) never talks during the test." You have to know that all of those years and months of preparation, prayer, and sacrifice is preparing you to have an audience with "The King." During that hour, or momemt you will have His undivided attention. God has already prepared your for the final exam. What God has put in you will come out. He will be there cheering you on and brining you through to the otherside of your frustrations and past disappointments.God watches our faithfulness, sincerity and our willingness to be broken, before he empowers us to carry forth the ministry work for the kingdom.
He can not entrust his assignment ot women how are still on milk and baby food. ( Hebrews 5:13) says, "For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. (14) But solid food beongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
You must be built on a solid foundation having already learned the elementary principles of the oracles/teachings of God; and not stuck on milk. The writer says:" By this time you ought to be teachers, but you need somebody to teach you again the first principles of the gospel.(Hebrews 5:11-14)
The Apostle James admonishes the church by saying in (James 3:1) "My brethren, let not many of yiou become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment." In other words, to whom much is given, much is required. You have to know that you have been called, and know what you have been called to do. You have to use the Word of God skillfully., not just carry it under your arm, in your pocketboo, or on your Iphone or Ipad. The Word of God will prick you, it will test your faith, it will have you rolling on the floor at tow o'clock in the morning wondering what and why God chose me for this work.
This gospel is no joke you must build your knowledge upon the Word of God, do not give place to the flesh! The Bible says, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my Word will last forever."
So check your foundation Chosen women of God. Wield your sword like you wield you cell-phone. Don't leave home without it! Sleep with it under your pillow, go back and get it if you forget it on the night stand. lol. Why am I saying this? Because we are living in a world of technology and people are afraid to be without some form or way to communicate with their family, friends, business partners and church members. We need to have that same sense of urgency that we have for our IPads, Laptops, and Ipnones when we accidently leave them or lose them somewhere. Where is your Bible??? How dare you leave it home on Sunday and Wednesday night.
Some of us have become so complacent witht the technology on our systems, that if you gave us the real Bible, we would not have a clue where to find certain books that the preacher called out on Sunday morning. The Bible: The B I B L E" the is the "BOOK" for Me."
