I recently posted a quote from an inspirational AP that I have on my phone. It caught my attention immediately. I wanted to share it on my Blog, just in case you are not one of my Facebook friends. Here is the quote:
WE ARE ALL A LITTLE BROKEN. BUT THE LAST TIME I CHECKED,
BROKEN CRAYONS STILL COLOR THE SAME
I think I shared this, but I am a teacher and we love repetition. In regards to the quote above, these are my thoughts.
Sometimes little is better. When you are straight, slender and pointy, no one can tell you, you aint cute, smart, talented, colorful. But when the outer shell starts to peel away, when you are broken and yielded to the spirit of God, making your "point," takes a back seat to saving the relationship. You are shrinking in size, learning to be humble. Living godly and loving people is more important than being a Diva, a little god, being vain, and stuck on self. When you lose your shape, when you become broken, God can show you His plan, give you the vision, goals, destiny that will fit in the palm of your hand. It is just your size, just right for you. You don't have to compete with the other crayons in the box. You can draw your own landscape for your life, cause you know you still got it.
Now I just said something right there!!!! That was for me, if It wasn't for anybody else out there. Go on and share it! Not into competing with folk. You do You, I will Do Me. Lol
Lovely Day, Lovely Day, Lovely Day
I STILL WORK, YOU STILL WORK! LORD,"COLOR MY WORLD" #CHICAGO!!!!!
HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND: DON'T FORGET TO SAY YOUR PRAYERS
