I heard Dr. Juanita Bynum minister from the Book of Hebrews Chapter 11, a couple of times last week on Facebook Live. I want to share something of value that I received from her message. She is teaching on the subject of "Dimensions of Faith." There was something that hit my spirit the other day and I just want to share it with you.
She remarked that: When something or someone is sitting in your spot, in a place that belongs to you, that, that is when you are to wage warfare, that is when you go to war in the spirit. That is when you go to war to put the intruder out. Therefore if you are not hearing from God, it is an indication that you do not have enough of God sitting in your heart, sitting in faith, to urge you to get the blessing God has laid up for you!!!
f someone has stolen it, then you have been deputized and authorized to go into the enemies camp and take back that which has been stolen, high-jacked from you.. You must digest enough of him in your hearing; He must become your daily bread. God speaks from what he has already spoken to you. The Word must become your portion your daily meal. The measure that you meditate on is the measure of faith that you will receive. What are you receiving? You already have His Word on a thing. It’s is already in you. God allows you to find the divine connections in your life.
You must gravitate toward it. If it is already in me I must agree with God quickly. You and I must have the right measurement of faith so that we are not threatened by the giants that come into our lives to distort the truth, and take our focus away from what God already spoke into our spirit.
When David heard about the taunts of Goliath that came up against Israel, he was not afraid to go up against and confront him. Why? He already had the measure of faith to defeat Goliath. Look at his life, examine his character. He was a worshiper of God, He had a prayer life, He knew that his father and brothers looked down on him and rejected him. Nevertheless, he found God out there in the pasture. He developed a relationship with Jehovah. When a lion and a bear came to threaten his sheep the portion of his lot that God entrusted to him to love guard and take care of, The Lord gave him the gifts, delicate and simple as they were, to defeat the lion and the bear.
When the time came for David to be elevated from the sheepfold to the house of Saul, look at God’s timing, look at the scenario that the Lord set up. Look at the text. Look at what he said. He was prophesying before he even threw the first stone. He called Goliath an uncircumcised giant. He told him he had no blood covenant with Yahweh, so he was already defeated. He told the giant of his pass successes, he had kill a lion and a bear with his bare hands, And he would do the same to him. His weapons were very simplistic, a slingshot and five smooth stones was all he had with him. But that would be enough. They were merely symbols, but the power was in the words he spoke. Listen to them.
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
48 So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him.
I hope you recieved something from this blog today. Dr. Bynum's message "Urged on By Faith," has really blessed me. It lets me know that we don't need more JESUS, WE NEED MORE FAITH. WE NEED TO PRAY FOR A HIGHER DIMENSION OF FAITH. We already have God's Word. He is not going to go against His Word. We already have a portion of faith, The more of His Word that we eat and digest, the more Word is inside of us to draw from. When menial trivial, work, assignments that we regularly do are done as unto the Lord, He can and will arrange a divinely appointed destiny moment to draw you into His perfect will and timing.
But we must stay awake! We must prepare and do the little things, what we call little and insignificant with passion and excellence. Then that shows God our heart, that shows Him that we can be trusted with the little things. God trusted David with those few sheep, God trusted Noah with a word that he had to keep preaching even thought it had never rained, and the people did not believe him.
When we read Hebrews chapter 11, we see the members of the spiritual "Hall of Fame," urged on by faith to accomplish great exploits for the Lord. Some of them never saw the thing that they pursued, some lost their lives, but still held on to faith believing for the next generation to obtain that which they desired and hoped for.
What are you hoping and praying for? Who is in the seat that you should be occupying?
stop chasing donkeys, get focused. god has need of thee, your church, community, family, the nations, have need of thee.
God Bless You and: Don't forget to say your prayers.
