On January 2, 2017, I signed on to take up the 30 DAY SOUL DETOX CLASS WITH APOSTLE SUZANNE HOWARD. These classes are being offered on Facebook Live and on Periscope every evening At 9:00 P.M. You can enjoy the lecture from the comfort of your own home and the class is free of charge.
Most of us who have signed on as delegates), that is what she calls us, have received a new revelation on the old adage: "Sticks and stones can hurt your bones, but names will never hurt you." We have found that to be a LIE! Sticks and stones can break your bones, but WORDS CAN SCAR YOU FOR LIFE.

Below is a short summary of days 1 and 2 of her class. It is not too late to join us on Facebook or periscope. all of these classes are uploaded to YouTube, MP's and on her Facebook page, so you can catch the replays. Check out my summary and what I got out of the first two classes.

30 DAY SOUL DETOX IDENTIFICATION & SOLUTIONS
When God breathed His rauach, His breathe in us, we became a living soul. The Hebrew word for soul is:  (Psuche). It also means (self). The soul is the seat of our affections.. It means the living being, our desires. Are we ignoring our desires? Our soul is also our passion. What are you passionate about? How do you know you should be passionate about a thing? Do you even know id you have passion?

Our soul also is where our appetite is. An appetite can be: spiritual, dietary, intellectual, revelation, even sexual. Why does your appetite desire certain things, have you ever thought about that? The soul is also the seat of our emotions. Soul is another name for “strength.” Maybe you have heard the phrase, “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.’

The soul is where we get the word (Psyche) from. It refers to the aftermath of God breathing his breath of life into us, his gift of life. We became, (en-souled being endowed, given a soul). However, this is the very thing that we in the church have been taught to ignore. Everyone in the church seems to be after the spirit. Everyone wants the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but we are ignoring the soul. The car is no good without an engine and its transmission. We give our soul the least amount of attention. We dummy it down saying, “it’s just thoughts, some of which are silent and not uttered, so what does it matter.

But ignoring the soul leaves consequences. We need to be tough on our soul, we need to determine what is in our soul that keeps us spewing toxic waste on others. We need to be concerned about what is in our soul that keeps us in cycles, patterns of unproductive behaviors. We need to know what is in our soul that produces infectious tongue lashings that we heap upon unsuspecting individuals in our homes, work places, in the church, in our cars, etc.

Our soul directs a major part of our life. It is the filter system though which all other mechanisms work harmoniously to keep your heart and mind in perfect peace. One’s soul is the strainer or sieve through which we empty out either something valuable or destructive, sweet or sour, good to the body or harmful, wasteful or productive.

The church has become desensitized in the area of ministering to the soul. In the church, we are encouraged to forgive and forget. We are encouraged to let it go, we are encouraged to let bygones be bygones, we are instructed to let the spirit take care of everything. We are encouraged to pray about everything, take it to the Lord in prayer! But the silencing of our voice through ignoring what is going on in our soul and in our minds is killing some of us. We are seldom able to give a face or a voice to the silent killing of our souls.
We are always being told as children, “What goes on in the house stays in the house.” We are told in the church to suck it up and let the Holy Ghost purify and take the offense out. We are limited in what we can say, because there is always someone higher up than us telling us, “You can say that, you can’t embarrass this one or that one, who gives you the right to bring light, truth to this hurt or offense.”

But there are pedophiles in the church, there are liars and cheaters in the church and in the home, there are rapist in the home and who is protecting our children? People would rather protect the rapist and protect the family name or church leader, than have the truth be exposed. Many boys suffer in silence because their voice was taken away; In fact most boys are taught to be, “A Man” about it! Don’t be a sissy or a wimp. Men don’t talk, men don’t share, they are wired that way and encouraged to hold hurt and pain in. But we need family counseling; we need help men and women, boys and girls. We cannot enjoy life when our soul is infected. We need detoxing of our mind and soul.

                                         DECEPTION INFECTION:
DEFINITION: TO BE DECEIVED IS AN INFECTION IN OUR SOUL
We spend a lot of time detoxing our bodies and cleansing our bodies, but we never stop to think that we should make the same effort to clean or detox our soul. Whoever told you that your thoughts didn’t matter lied to you. Maybe you were told to just keep them inside, as long as you don’t hurt someone you’ll be alright. But unhealthy thoughts become unhealthy words! Silent thoughts poison your soul. What you get out of you, you can forget, but what you keep silent you circulate. It is important to share your thoughts. People need to go to counseling, but most don’t. People clearly need help for their souls.

You do not have to have gone through what someone else has gone through in order to help that individual. A doctor doesn’t have to get cancer in order to help you get medical care for your cancer. I don’t have to be an alcoholic in order to counsel you. I don’t have to be a crackhead in order to counsel you in that area. Paul gives the most counsel on marriage in the New Testament, yet he never married. Don’t throw everybody away just because they have never walked in your shoes.

Thoughts just don’t stay disconnected or just stay in our heads. They form your words and your moods! Silent thoughts cause your mood swings. You start having all these thoughts in your head. They affect you more than you know. Many people snap and get all worked up and then we are depressed and oppressed by the devil, because we become toxic. You and I can think our own selves into depression. Your thoughts become your words and it is where you and I are today. Thoughts show up in our struggles every 30 days if left unchecked. For example: a wife or a husband may feel they have to check out of the marriage every 30 days because of healthy thoughts or patterns of behavior. Then these thoughts and behaviors are seen as the “New Normal,” But the devil is a liar!! They aren’t normal, they are unhealthy infectious deceptive structures built up in your mind, and they must be cast down.

What happen most of the times is people begin to say, “Well, that is just the way I am.”
Why don’t you want to grow and change? If you have been a liar, cheater, fornicator, addict for 5, 10, 15 years, why would you want to continue to live in bondage? You need an upgrade. God, the Lord Jesus came to give your life and that much more abundantly!!!  But when people approach you and tell you about yourself, you think they are being judgmental. “No,” stop deflecting, stop lying to yourself, you have “deceptive infection.”

It is a protective device to protect what you don’t want to deal with. You didn’t need to be raped in order to write a book, being raped, adopted, or abandoned, didn’t make you who you are. We make choices or we are put in situations where we were not protected; or we had traumatic situations that infected our soul, causing us to experience a number of weaknesses.

The events, circumstances and trauma  we experience in life shapes our beliefs and perspective from the age of 6 to 18. Some of us have self-hatred, insecurity, racism, intolerance etc. The longer we view ourselves through distorted lenses the more likely you will believe a distorted truth. The more likely we are living in Deception Infection. We carry on a false belief system. We don’t know that what we don’t know about ourselves can actually harm us.

So let’s go clean and sober for 30 days, some of you haven’t’ been sober in years. We are infected in our souls. Often we don’t want to know ourselves. Some are intoxicated off their looks, status, class, pride, intellect, position etc. We must see our own blind spots in our soul and in our natural life. Ask yourself, “Why do I think this way? Think about what you think about? Why do you get moody? What caused you to be moody? Fast from media and conversation from some people for these 30 days, and I bet some of you will begin to feel better.

Ohhh, I said a mouthful her already. do you feel the anointing over the airways. I feel some of you getting delivered right now. But my time is up,

Have a Blessed Day: Don't Forget To Say Your Prayers!!!

Day 12 of the Soul Detox Series # Apostle Suzanne Howard.
I am going to keep this short today because I need to get some things accomplished. So far I am up to 4 toxic self head talk that I owe my TRASH JAR! The good thing is that I am catching them and witin a second or two, I Tell myself, SHUT UP! LOL. I am talking out loud to myself in my house. Lol
Any way: I dont know if I am ready for this talk on BITTERNESS!!!! I LIVED @ THAT ADDRESS FOR A LONG TIME. But I finally had to wrestle with that demon and go and get some medice for my soul. Not medication, but godly counseling.
I had to name Bitterness, Put face On It. I Had to Write Down The Offense, Write Down The Phrases, Words, Remember The Body Language And The Source of the Offense.
Whew! It was painful. I talk about some of it in my book, "Don't Forget To Say Your Prayers" and also in the follow-up book, "Carest Thou Not That I Parish, In The Midst of the Storm."

Apostle said something last night that struck another chord, I say another, because, she has been playing a symphony to me for the last 10 days.
She said that, you do not confess everyone to everyone. Some people cannot handle your drama, your mess up, your trauma, your struggle. Some stuff needs to stay between you and Jesus.

We need to ask for God's forgiveness to blot out the transgression, and ask others for forgiveness for healing and restoration. We have to be honest with ourselves. If we reveal an offense, a secret, hurt, addiction or a traumatic event; would disclosing those involve benefit from you opening Pandora's Box? Who benefits, who gets the glory. Sometimes it is just wise to keep your mouth closed.
How do I know? I am living it. I cannot or will not share somethings that occurred in my life, but I journaled the struggle, pray about it, forgave the offense, get counseling etc etc. And yet, this class is bringing somevof the memories and decisions back up!
But that is ok! Every now and then an enema is good for body and soul. The "Cloud, " stores lots of information, and just by hitting the right app, you can have hidden, stored away pictures, ideas, thoughts, etc restored in a flash.
It is what you do with things on repeat or redial or reboot that matters next. IJS.
I said I would be beief, so I'm out till tonight.
