BLOG POST TOPIC: YOUR PROMOTION COMES IN THE FIRE
The story of the three Hebrew children in the fiery furnace makes us realize four things:
1. Obeying God doesn’t exclude or exempt you from trouble. As Christians, we must realize time and chance comes upon all men. Sometimes horrible things just happen. Don’t expect the world to always understand or appreciate you. Look at Christ: “ In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it” (John 1:4-5 NIV).
2. You’re not alone, God is with you in your troubles. He has already made a way of escape for you. It might not be immediate! You might have to wait awhile. God is not always in a hurry to deliver you. He is never early or late, He is always on time. When Nebuchadnezzar looked into the fiery furnace he said, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” ( Daniel 3:25). Instead of destroying them, the fire burned the ropes that bound them and set them free. so be encouraged. It may feel like you are bound by your circumstances, “limited and locked in, but God is still with you; He’s going to vindicate you and bring you out of this victoriously.
3. Your trouble will become your testimony. The test did not come to destroy you but to build your confidence and trust in God. Others are watching you! What they are trusting in doesn’t work, and they are wondering how you can withstand so much hell in your life and come out of the fire of those circumstances unscathed. Your faithfulness to God and His intervention on your behalf will touch their lives in ways your doctrine or theology never will. Everybody in Babylon knew what the three Hebrew boys believed, but they wanted to know, “Does it work when you are in the fire? It certainly does!!!
4. On the other side of your trouble, there’s a great blessing. “Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.” It is a Scriptural principle: when you are faithful in a hard place, God can trust you in a high place.
Are you ready for a promotion? God is ready to do a new thing in your life, but are you willing to go through the process. Sometimes you get the mess before you get the miracle. but I encourage you to stay with God. He promises to do exceedingly abundantly, above all you can ask, think or image, Ephesians 3:20. The Lord promises that He will be with us in every circumstance, He will never leave us or forsake us. Don’t be afraid to go through the fire.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND: DON'T FORGET TO SAY YOUR PRAYERS!.
