Don’t Forget To Say Your Prayers (DFTSYP) Ministry is dedicated to my loving grandmother, Sylvia Fulton. She was an awesome woman of God. She lived to the blessed age or 99 years old.
Grandma Sylvia or "Grand mommy" as we fondly called her, was an inspiration to our family and those that were blessed to make her acquaintance. Grandma Sylvia adored her family and she loved the Lord. She trusted and depended upon Him for everything. She was a woman of great faith and prayer.
Grandma Sylvia would always end every visit or telephone call by saying, "Don’t forget to say your prayers". It did not matter who it was, a family member, nurse’s assistant, neighbor or a stranger, theses words of wisdom were imparted into each and everyone of their lives.
I am determined that her words will live on eternally just as she will in the Spirit. I have made it my responsibility and charge to impart these same word of faith to others that I meet and come in contact with.
The words "Don't forget to say your prayers" are memorable, transferable and practical. I encourage parents or grandparents to rehearse these words over and over into the ears of their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. These words will leave a legacy, history and a spiritual foundation of prayer in their lives.
The motto of this interactive, on-line prayer ministry is based on the principles as stated in James 5:16(b), "The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much".
This prayer ministry was established in January of 2007.
